Went to a preview last night. Absolutely brilliant. Best thing I've seen at the theatre and hilarious. Dancing stormtroopers high stepping across a stage seems much funnier in the flesh than on a screen somehow...

The thing with Lee Evans and Richard Dreyfuss in it?

Saw a little clip of it on the news, and it did look pukka.

Yeah, except Dreyfuss sacked himself about four days before it started and was replaced by Nathan Lane (who won a Tony for it on Broadway). Lee Evans wasn't annoying, either (I hate him, usually).

same here, except in Funny Bones, which I reckon is a work of absolute

Bill - any advice on where to sit?

Well, I suffer from vertigo (what a girly wuss) and last time we went to the theatre I had these tickets that were in a bit so steep I got the vapours and my wife had to carry me out (only slight exaggeration). So this time we got them in the stalls. We were at the back, but still got a really good view. In the interval I went and had a look at the circle to see if they were vapour-inducing and they weren't. Id' say a ticket at the fron of the lower circle would give you a brilliant view or further to the front on the stalls. Higher up, bring the smelling salts.
