I'll be there, but don't know for how long. I'm a lot busier nowadays, so the days of the complete playlist popping up the next day are limited. Maybe we should start doing our own, or pm them to me so they can go up in one go or whatever - any ideas?

I have a LP by the Matadors, given to me by someone for someone at the last HF&S. My mind was busy with other things so I forget who it was for, or who gave it to me (andy?) but I have it and will bring it down to Brillo. So who's it for?

Tonight is go go night? aw fuck!

Actually, I'll be airing what has been described as an early example of DC Go Go, but I call it pysched out funk: two copies of Young Senators - Ringing Bells, so both parts can be seamed back together, if you remember pt2 from the black chains comp, then you'll also remember that it fuckin rocks shit!

Hadrian,

What did you think of Southport? I thought it was nothing special this time round. The sound in the Soul Room was pretty crap, everytime some one opened the door you got the banging bass of the main room thundering through! I did enjoy Danny Krivit though, plenty of Philly niceness. I missed the set by Theo Parrish, as I was knackered and left to sleep at about the time he was starting. (my mate said he was the highlight of the weekend)
Bacardi Room was generally good, but nothing spectacular, all the rooms were playing a lot of 4/4 beats. not much quality jazz to be heard. (too much jazz not jazz beatz)
Mark GV Taylor
