yep, definitely a few promising ones in there. weird he's only listed about 25% of the lot? I'd be up for the hip hop ones if you don't want them, BTW.
We know when a mate buys it for you too.

Other than the Love Bug Starski which other Hip Hop ones did you see?

I can't see anything on there that would warrant a few quid if you were buying separately.

The Raw Soul Express on Cat could be interesting if you check - the expensivo 'the way we live' was credited to the mis-spelt Rawl Soul Express on the label. So I don't think you've hit pay dirt there. Wait until receive the goods.

$61 though??

I assumed that the raw Soul Express could be interesting and the SOUL 45. Does anyone know what they released on 45?

Well Burning Spear, but that was on Musicor.

I've heard some ballady soully stuff too but can't remember the name. Thought it was pretty naff though.

all the decent S.O.U.L stuff on 45 is on Musicor as far as I know. Apart from Burning Spear lookout for:-

Soul pts 1 & 2
Peace of Mind

Had a very amusing text from Sie Vulture this morning from Philly. I'll let him share his spoils but I don't think he realises how much his text made me chuckle... Oh, and it's vaguely related to this thread.

And even the Burning Spear 45 edits out the best bit - the bass and drum intro that Pete Rock sampled - making it an incredibly redundant record. Sorry, personal bug-bear of mine that record. Bought it years ago and selled it straight away in disgust.

I'll give you £100 for the Oran 'Juice' Jones!
"I saw you (in in) walking in the rain..."
"you were holding hands and I...I'll never be the same"
remember this when it come out and doing dodgy robotics to Luvbug Starski at the youth club when I was about 10.
I think the 'juice' Jones is getting spins at Deepfunk now

War & Chakachas could be decent though not nessecarily gonna pay off the mortgage. JB obviously could be good.
Enthusiastic vagueness passes for scholarship in the twilight world of the disc-jockey.

I figure I'm getting 300+ 45's from this guy, a $60 investment has got to be worthwhile.

I'm sure you don't need telling Mark, but make sure the seller puts a nominal value on the Customs docket - the duty on the postage for 300 45's would be a nightmare...
