  • December brillo 2004

So by popular demand, this December's Brillo is gonna be a 'best of 2004' edition.

Please only bring stuff released this past year for a Brillo year in review! This'll be good for the bar too I guess, since it'll be touching into Xmas party season by then, ha ha!

Let's make it a big one to see the year out, eh?

    Cock on!

That's me out then. I've not got anything released this year, or last, or the one before that, etc, etc

Hmm.. quite tempted to pull on my new school party shoes and break out the 2004 future soul-sonic joints..

      *consults train fare scenario*
Let him have the lot for £2.00 - we were only going to throw 'em out anyway...

Being an out of touch hep-cat, can someone drop some Grime so I can hear what it sounds like.

There's a new comp of the stuff that just came out, which includes Roll Deep's Let It Out, which is really really good, although in truth it sounds more like Brit hip hop to me.

Apparently it sounds like that old terrace chant...

"Who ate all the pies? Who ate all the pies?".

                  Is Dizzee Rascal Eski beat?

I'll bring my ears - can someone bring some of better quality hip hop and 'downtempo' releases of this past year, please?
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

Oh darn it. That's my carefully planned old timey dixieland jazz revival postponed for another month then.

                      Modern music........it's the future innit?
