  • Listing on ebay....with a mac

Is it just my problem or is it very hard to list stuff on ebay with a Mac? I get as far as the penultimate page, which normally refuses to load properly. Then it takes six or ten attempts to right it, and each item takes an age to list.....is it just me?

It's not you. I used to try to sell on e-bay with a Mac a few years ago, and it drove me so nuts that I used to drive my sister's place to use her PC ("You can't work on your homework, I goota get on e-bay!&quot. Finally, last year, I ponied up for the PC. Still have the Mac for artistic endeavors, but PC for day to day.

I think your problem is the browser you're using. I tried in several times with Safari and it just doesn't work, so I switched to Explorer and it works fine.

                I use 9.2 and IE5.1 as well - and I'm finding it a nightmare!

It can be annoying sometimes when at the final stage, a page fails to load or something and it doesn't let you go one page back and complete the listing... But I tend to get into a pattern, html it all beforehand, pics uploaded and linked, do them in batches of the same category, with the category numbers on a page by the computer etc. But then I guess so does everyone else and it's still a major trial... Bring on the mac turbo lister, now!

What sort of connection do you have? Things were always ropey on a 56k dial-up but since I've been on broadband the pages load like lightning.

fairly decent broadband - that's why it's so annoying!
