  • Jan Brillo Date And Venue!!!

Right finally got around to contacting the manager of Smersh about our little shin dig and he seems dead keen.

I need to know pretty definitely how many of you guys would be up for Friday 21st Jan at Smersh starting between 7-8pm?

I explained the basis of the night and the music we'd be playing and he thought everything sounded fine, he was actually relieved to discover that we wouldn't be playing house and broken beats!!

He also mentioned the possibilty of us doing something down there on a regular basis (depending on how the first night went.) Might be fun to have another event for us to play at on a monthly basis as well as the long standing Brillo nights at the Salmon.

    Anyway who's in????????????????????????

            Good job Mark!!

I'm definitely in. Could probably get there for early doors too.

And a regular there would be excellent. I think we should be spreading our wings as a 'Collective' at any rate.

              Oh, go on then.

And something on a regular basis would also be good!

Chris is very keen to have a BoB as a regular event down there, no he's getting shot of many of his regular nights for 2005. Speaking of which, it's about time for another. Late Feb, early March?

Early March would suit me better than late Feb, Nick, 'cos I'll be moving house again at the end of Feb (and we don't want record nerding overload, with Edinburgh in the middle of the month, do we? ). But that's just me.

Enjoy the goodies Andy. I have another idea for the list, so I'll mail you later (time to start checking a few things out )...

Late Feb would be good for me, Nick. Early March is out, and mid March is Jazzman, if anything can be worked out around it.

                      Check you PM's too, fella!

Ok, I won't be able to fully confirm until the building schedule at the bar is clear, but I'll try for late Feb or March, but avoiding the Jazzman Sat.

Guys, I'm going to be a bit more organised about the Smersh night as its a Friday. I'm planning on posting up a playing order giving everyone a half hour slot. Once we're through it we can go back to the beginning and start again. Any objections?
