  • Hello

Crate-digger / ebayer from Sweden joining.
Not into hiphop or modern music at all actually... so I may be a bit out of place...

    What I'm into:
sitars, moog, e-z, exotica, kraut, library music (though i only pick up library comps for cheap, no originals allowed by my ecenomy)

What I'm getting into more and more nowadays:
    psych, jazz, country

What I plan to get into when time and money allows:
    soul, funk

Also like general odd/weird stuff whatever genre

Some favorites (out of the blue):
dick hyman, 13th floor elevators, ananda shankar, martin denny, lalo schifrin, frank sinatra, faust, the monks, yma sumac, stan getz, foetus, throbbing gristle, astrud gilberto, lill lindfors, bruce haack, david alan coe, hugo montenegro, devo, spike jones, motörhead etc etc etc

30 yrs old, have a steady job so most digging for vinyl is on my vacation in the summer. play records at clubs occassionaly (once or twice a year). some good books about music:
    elevator music
    lords of chaos
    the dirt
    vinyl junkies

    whatever else you wanna know?

    you wanna have me here?

i can always use a forum to through out questions in, and maybe hopefully answer a few too...

also have a shitload of albums i don't need and will be open for trade suggestions some time in the future. recently moved to a new apartment, so all vinyl i wanna sell / get rid off is piled up in various places and there's no list yet.

Sorry man... Only got a vinyl reissue of Doris. Love that album though, but originals are incredbly rare even here.

                        haha!
If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.
