    ... I've just reviewed this for the Main V V Site Update....
    If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

                Well that's interesting. Mark Pritchard's managed to create a bunch if tunes inspired by all the crap ones on the average library record, and not the one good tune you bought that record for.

                Got nothing against the idea of being inspired by or recreating a genre etc, from what I heard on the excellent Warp website, the tracks just don't work/are any good. Maybe he should throw some more money at Julian to get him some better records for his collection.

                  Good call Nick. There are a couple of better, Schifrin-inspired tracks towards the end of the album, but I guess that most folks have lost interest by then..

                    Departure Lounge and Optigan and a couple of others would make a great EP, really liked Optigan in particualr, otherwise wasn't very impressed. nice sleeve though...
