  • VG+ friendly radio stations

While on holiday I discovered FIP for the first time (can't believe I've not come across it before) and it struck me how it was something of a VG+ wet dream. Been listening to it on the net since I got home and love the lack of inane chat and loads of ace music (though they don't play any electronic music unfortunately).

Are there any other stations of a similar stripe to this?

Haven't seen that before, listening to it now.

Guess you've come across it before by now but EVR has quite an eclectic list of show. Haven't listened to it in a couple of years now though.

Listen to that all the time - favourite internet station!! You can pick it up in Brighton 'for real' - I think they even have a FIP night somewhere there....(?)

There is the US one San Francisco based - SOMA - several channels I believe..... http://somafm.com/

My friend Bruce Tantum has a show on East Village Radio. It's a great station but yeah not strictly the same as FIP

Just back from holiday myself. Took one of my old Radio Tip Top off air recordings with me (from circa 1995) - surely unlicensed Radio Tip Top was the ultimate VG+/Vinyl Vulture radio "station"?

Not a station per se, but I can't believe Bill's missed out...

it's OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through all right. When you get to all right,
take a good look around and get used to it, because that may be as far as you're gonna go.
