  • Lansdowne title... help!

hey folks, I'm trying to recall/find the title of a Columbia/ Lansdowne LP - its a borderline exploito Latin/spanish title, I think it has a girl on the cover, pretty sure it doesn't list the musicians, and it might even be without a leader: just a bullschitt lounge title like 'Spanish delights' or some such. Any ideas? thanks...

NB: for quality, and the sheer obscurity of some of it, the Lansdowne Series has got to be one of the very deepest catalogues in this country. On what other major label are pretty much unknown things still being turned up?

yes, that sounds right... I don't think its 'the mood is latin', i think maracas girl is right, maybe without a head i.e. a shot of just her body?

I picked up a fairly nondescript looking Lansdowne on Columbia only last week - "La Latin Dolce" by "Martinas Y Su Orquesta" which is bound to be a pseudonym for Geoff Love or someone. Couple of very nice tracks on that though, surprisingly.

No, an obscure one, again prob uncredited? Might not even be indian, might just be exotica bollocks, or some sort of easy/lounge dude?

No musicians listed on the sleeve, although Acker Bilk comes in for some praise on the sleevenotes...
