That bassline in 'The Power is On' was driving me mad... at first I thought 'Police Woman' but know it isn't and now I remember where i know it from.
Is it from 'Maverick' (western TV show with James Garner)?
I only know it from Carrie- where William Katt & Amy Irving are watching TV and it's some western. This music comes up and plays off onto the end titles.
It's been a long time since a sample has bugged me so much-- back in the late 80's I didn't have a night out without a 'what the fook is that from?' moment!
