Could anyone who owns Surman's self-titled debut on Deram and a scanner drop me a line? Thanks!
Must grade overall visually at least as Good minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!!)

I scanned album sleeves for my Shindig articles and had to use a print shop - even then it missed a fraction off

Aye, you need two A3 scans to join together. A right royal pain.

Although if memory serves me correctly, the debut Surman album is mainly red?

Has anyone here ever tried out one of these (or similar)?

Not tried a scanner mouse, but imagine it would be a lot more trail and error work to get a decent LP scan then simply getting a decent photography set up with proper lighting and thus no glare. I think scanner mouses are designed for much smaller area.

Photo route still takes time to crop but this is what e3sa934 did for our Sheffield exhibition.

I had to scan some other LPs for reproduction and got access to a large sheetbed scanner - one of those ones which you feed the paper in. Most of the time it was a bugger to get them in - they were too thick and it took a lot of hacking to get it to work.

Speaking of hacking this could be a better solution than the mouse - http://hackaday.com/2013/09/27/hacki...rge-documents/

The next step up is an A2 flatbed scanner - prohibitively expensive.
