      Papa's Got A Brand New Pigbag - Pigbag (Y) 12

I picked this up at the weekend as well Matt. Didn't the Perfectomundo Allstars sample one of the trumpet riffs from this for that really annoyingly catchy song they did ages ago.

Indeed as stated above....but also 'borrowed' to some extent or another on The Psychonauts 'Hot Blood' on Mo' Wax. Unless my ears decieve me of course....

I'm old enough to remember grooving around the living room to this when it was on TOTP back in '81.

Went a bit crazy in a charity on Saturday afternoon - must have been the blazing sun ... have nicked Matt's format and stuck (t) next to some doubles if anyone's interested ...

Mrs. Robinson - Simon & Garfunkel (CBS) 7" EP
The Air That I Breathe - The Hollies (Polydor) 7" - have a bit of a soft spot for this track
Papa Was A Rolling Stone b/w inst. - The Temptations (Motown) 7"
Deodato - Also Sprach ... (CTI) 7" - is it me or is this quite different to the LP arrangement? Haven't done a side by side yet ...
Lovin' You - Minnie Riperton (Epic) 7"
Leave Me Be - Sonny & Cher (Atlantic) 7"
Hocus Pocus - Focus (Polydor) 7"
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust (RCA) 7"
Hello, How Are You - Easybeats (UA) 7" - produced by Alan Tew, so I thought it was worth a punt. Heavy drums, but no OPENILLSTABS or nuffin

Greatest Hits - The Supremes feat. Mary Wilson - (Motown) LP
Plays The Music Of Harry Warren - The Dave McKenna Trio (Concord) LP
Suite For Violin & Jazz Piano - Pinchas Zukerman / Claude Bolling (CBS) LP
Bilitis OST - Francis Lai (UA) LP - (t) LESBIANBREAKSRARE !! etc etc
            The Dude - Quincy Jones (A&M) LP - (t)
Sounds ... and Stuff Like That! - Quincy Jones (A&M) LP x2 (t)
Rock Revival - Various Artists (Fontana) LP
Summit Sessions - Dave Brubeck (CBS) LP
Late Night Guitar - Earl Klugh (Liberty) LP
Music For The Millions - Toots Thieleman (Polydor) LP - nice version of 'You've Got It Bad Girl'
(Sexual) Healing b/w inst. - Marvin Gaye (CBS) 12"
Into Battle With - The Art Of Noise (ZTT) 12"
Birthday (Live at Knebworth 1990) - Paul McCartney (mpl) 12" - I remember hearing this gig on the radio on the way to a party to celebrate having finished my A-levels ... yikes!
Pressin' On - Billy Preston (Motown) LP
Hard Work - John Handy (MCA) 12"
Instant Reply - Dan Hartman (CBS) LP

Now to assimilate them into the collection before the missus notices

Not working for charity, but a visit to everybody's favourite revamped East Finchley spot...

Love - Out There LP (been waiting for this for aaages at a decent enough price - the mildew should come off )
              The Equals - Unequalled LP
              Caveman - Victory EP
Eric B And Rakim - Follow The Leader 45 (so now I have one in the piccy sleeve)
Oscar Peterson - another LP on MPS, the title of which escapes me...
Roger Coulam - Organ In Orbit LP (mashed but it'll do for the time being - nice sleeve)

Now, why hasn't the postman delivered anything in a while?!?
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

What do you get on this, Towny? The UK twelve has the Jay Dee Extended Mix and the Rae & Christian mix on one side. 'Drop' extended vocal and 'Drop' Beatminerz mix on the flip. Anything more on the double promo?

                        I have one of these - on Go!Beat (GOPRO 142) - here's the tracklist:
                        A1: Jay Dee Extended Mix
A2: Jay Dee Clean Radio Mix
                        B1: Rae & Christian Remix
                        B2: US Remix
                        C1: 'Drop' - Extended Vocal
                        C2: 'Drop' - Beatminerz Mix
                        D1: Jay Dee Instrumental
                        D2: 'Drop' - Extended Instrumental

                        So, a few extras ...

Frustratingly I used to have lots of spares of these, but gradually they've all gone ... if I turn up another anywhere I'll holler ...

The 'She Said' dbl pack is worth grabbing too for the Portishead remix ...
