I was tracking this in early November, then buggered off to India and so forgot to keep up... (sorry Alan!)

Wow.
12 years.
If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.
It isn't just about the two percenters - today is a time to remember those who signed up to make one single post and then, important point made, went back to their normal lives. God bless you, Spineneedle, Monsieur Wonderland, Russ Winstanley, Feedback Report, Django Chutney and the thousands of others like you.

Indeed!
Who can forget these classics:

Thread: Embassy Records
by 50s child
Having had a quick read through the previous postings there is one recording for Embassy that has not received a mention and I believe their only No 1 hit recording. That was [B][I]Freight Train recorded by Nancy Whisky and the Chas McDevot Group (not sure if I have spelt McDevot correctly). The recording was made on a 10" 78rpm record in the late 1950s.

Good evening, all you wonderful people!
it's OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through all right. When you get to all right,
take a good look around and get used to it, because that may be as far as you're gonna go.
