  • Recommend some cool music documentaries or concerts on YouTube.

Title pretty much says it all.

Got a couple of long coach journeys coming up next weekend and looking for some cool stuff to watch / listen to.

    Thanks

I was told about this recently and it's getting very regular play hereabouts. It seems to be be a run of individual songs rather than an unedited show, but that may just be my lack of technological ability.

This is great, chiefly for Michael Head, but if you're missing the grim, grimey, North of England this will sort you out. There is a strange, urban, poetry about it.

As recently posted on Soulstrut (in case you missed it)
it's OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through all right. When you get to all right,
take a good look around and get used to it, because that may be as far as you're gonna go.

If that's not northern and grim enough, how about this?

Reza, what's the name of the Tropicalia one as the link you posted won't work on my IPad.

Same with the second link of posted Expiry.

                  Cheers.

                  Anymore??

This is good for a watch. Prize nut-job Anton and the boys

Everyone tear down your own little wall
That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

There is a nice original film clip (at 11 mins ish ) of a guy who used to rent out gramaphone players, pushing them along in a barrow with record playing to advertise them for hire! Surely the first ever portable record player :-)
