Thought some people here might be interested to know they will be playing a few gigs this summer and the excellent Swedish band Me and My Kites (featuring Mattius from Dungen) will be the new backing band.

I'm trying to help them organise some gigs so if anyone is interested in putting them on or knows people who might then let me know. We are trying to work out a show with them and Wolf People too actually

Wow, that lp they made is one of my ALL TIME favourite lp's from that genre. Every track is a winner and just wonderful stuff all round. Sublime really. I wish I was in England, I would go to the concert for sure. I guess it's no coincidence that the Swedish band chosen to play is called Me and My Kites (?)

That's right; no coincidence at all.

They are big Fuchsia fans and I believe Tony Durant (who has moved to Australia) got in contact with them after hearing about them. They actually released a great 7" together.

Can't wait to see them both play live; Me and My Kites really get the original sound so it should be a lot better than some other comebacks.
