  • Durham Digging Live.

Myself, Fuz, Eric & Regi have bid farewell to Edinburgh & are staring the A68 in the eye. Looking for prime digging spots on route to Leeds; suggestions comrades?

That big basement of classical in Carlisle - also the 'record shop' and charities on the Botchergate.

RPM in Newcastle and Just the Sound Haughton Le Spring - especially the later if you can go in the back room. Call James on the road - I can give you his number.

i´d do a chazza raid in Hexham. Stockton was always good to me, too, but maybe a bit off-route.

Last time I took the A68 the in-car I-Spy game to keep an 11-year old occupied was livened up immensely by the possibility of spotting Raoul Moat.

Sound it out is certainly worth a visit.

If your heading to Durham, avoid the Oxfam it's over priced to buggery!

Avoid Durham full stop. I should upload my CSC from there. I found stuff, but only in my Great Aunt Marjorie's attic, which has been picked clean of signed Goodies raers.

Hexham can be good, though there is a collector who is out daily, and occasionally sells at the Car Boot. Chester-le-Street charities, and Market guys on a Friday can have the odd thing.
