I'm playing a tiki bar next Thursday nite. Suggest rum/booze releted grooves besides the obvious WW2 era Rum and cola and Hawaiian war chant please.

Today I guess they still have some popularity more for nostalgic and novelty purposes even though my only visit to one had a fantastic relaxing atmosphere and cocktails to die for. So there's probably a bit of quality to, that makes them retain their popularity in a totally different time."Only one thought left, that makes me come alive,
and that is you and me side by side, on the licorice ride"

Top dancehall which mentions rum, but only to express preference for ganja. Also: General Echo - Drunken Master. Sugar Minott - Buy Off the Bar
Best party record ever. Mentions whisky, but only to express preference for coca-cola
Cumbia and Rum. Also try the classic Tabaco y Ron by Rodolfo and about 20 other bands.
Vardy.....¡¡¡PELIGRO!!!
