  • RIP Frankie Knuckles...

    Sad news...

If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

      So sad
I saw him do a few all night DJ sets - most memorably at Mass in Brixton at least three times
One of dance music's most important figures
Will play this at home in memory

"Record collecting is no mere hobby, no innocuous leisurely diversion. It is a feverish passion bordering on dementia, driving those under the influence to irrational, compulsive, fanatical extremes."

House music has lost one of it's key originators.
I too saw him play the BoilerHouse set in the NYC recently, it was as if he hadn't changed or sold out in all those years.
        A sad loss...

            It's hard sometimes....

            RIP Frankie!
it's OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through all right. When you get to all right,
take a good look around and get used to it, because that may be as far as you're gonna go.
