That is VERY sad indeed. Stuffed up their lives for a good while and so they would be feeling gutted right now. Amazing how brazen the crooks were.

yes, I was just going to post this up, before seeing you already had. Hopefully taking those records might end up being their undoing when they try to shift them though as it seems quite likely - bearing in mind that they took a whole lot of other stuff - that they didn't set out to steal the 78s and might not be aware of how quickly word spreads about this kind of thing.
