  • Circuit Bending

Some time ago I picked up Reed Ghazala's book, 'Circuit Bending', all about techniques to tamper with the circuitry of toys and electronic instruments to make new sounds and instruments. Which all sounds kind of interesting, if I had time to try it out... but I haven't, so far.

I'm wondering if there's any great music made using these techniques. Stuff that doesn't sound like, er, broken toys.

    Anyone?

You can chalk me up as entirely ignorant of this kind of a thing, so thanks for posting it up. Kind of a fun watch, but he's using off the shelf toys, not circuit bent ones.
