Bit late on this one, only just heard it on Elmsy, stopped me in my tracks. Thought it was an old buried gem at first
Everyone tear down your own little wall
That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

This was originally due to come out in August but has sneaked out this month - the first in the new 'Other Voices' series of 7"s on Ghost Box, this one a collaboration between Jon Brooks and Sean O'Hagan:

It sounds exactly as you'd think it would, given the collaborators, and it's a cracker!

                The soundclips sounded great.

You won't be disappointed, HC - it's packed with ideas and quite lovely. I'd like to think an album might follow eventually.

I picked up the Veruschka. Decent sound quality. Possibly my favourite Morricone soundtrack and has probably my favourite Morricone track:

I'd thought the same about Dagored, presumably they still own the rights. Limited to 500 each soundtrack.

Too lazy to start a new thread for August releases so going to pretend Barney Wilen's album "Zodiac" was reissued in July (which it actually might have been?).

I realize it's almost the end of August and that this is my first ever post, but I remember reading once that generally the quality of Dagored reissues was somewhat dubious. Is that not actually the case?
