A live music festival on the same days as the fair in Utrecht this year - Bonnie Prince Billy on the Friday and Selda is down for the Sunday night... and Einstürzende Neubauten as some point to be announced...

Stupidly I delayed booking the flights until last week and had to pay £20 more. When I checked months ago they were £93 each. Checked a fortnight ago and it was £102 but gave it another few days only to see it had increased to £112 each! Bloody annoying but lesson learnt.

Use a private or incognito window when booking flights and hotels online. Travel sites often track your visits and will raise the price simply because you've visited before. Don't know if it's true, that's what I have heard.

Me too but it mainly boils down to 'don't get completely wankered in Amsterdam until the early hours of the Sunday morning and expect to be at the fair early', this is in conjunction with 'don't let Mat Hero sort out your nights entertainment'
