  • New releases: September 2014

Look at me all ahead of the curve, eh!

Anyway, September sees the long-awaited (by me, at least!) debut LP from Swiss baroque psych Superpop meister Balduin.
Should be right up the streets of some of you good people too.

    To infinity - and beyond!

Hell yeah. One of the LP's of the year for me.

Looking forward to this. Many 'big ups' etc etc.

Been waiting for something new from 39th and the Nortons but first up from Nick Wheeldon is Os Noctambulos excellent Corsica Garden LP. 'Os' don't have the same country twang as '39th' but the sound is pleasingly sparse, and open, as if you were hearing the band live as you descended the steps of a dingy below stairs club.

The good people at Blank Records down under are taking orders for the second box set of killer 45s from Festival Records.
There's some blinders on this one. Very impressed with the quality of Volume one. I figure I'm going to be one lucky sod to turn up any of these on og vinyl in pristine nick, so this is a no brainer for me. A chance to get the Hugo 45 on vinyl? Whoopee!!

That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

did anyone pick up on the "new" Lewis Parker release yet? came out in June, I think, so I'm fashionably late to the party as usual (car trouble).

                  http://kingunderground.bandcamp.com/...-instrumentals

though it gets a bit samey (well, it's all instrumentals hiphop), i'm enjoying it a lot, got some great loops and such and has a definite throwback feel to it.

comes on clear double vinyl with a nice 10"

Just noticed this on eBay, GAD records are re-issuing Baazaar by Jerzy Milian on LP. I've been after a copy for a while.

Might be of interest to a few people on here.

Just one copy left at Cardinal Fuzz of this superb LP. It's got banjos, it's got sitars, it's got drones, it's got tablas. It reaches heaviosity, and yet, can be mellow within seconds. I hope it's still there if someone wants it.
