  • Recent Reissues: Den of Iniquity and Bosporus Bridges: suspect bootlegs?

Got both of these recently through the guy who runs Golden Pavilion records

    http://www.discogs.com/Norman-Haines...elease/5539597

    http://www.discogs.com/Various-Bospo...elease/5729410

But I suspect them to be bootlegs, so now im wondering if this guy sells bootlegs how legit golden pavilion might be?

Has anyone else purchased these reissues? And any opinions on Golden Pavilion? I have the Stefano Torossi reissue they released.

The Bosporous release you've linked to on discogs is actually described in the Notes section as "THIS is an BOOTLEG 2014 Pressing in LOW QUALITY !!!"
Comment on the other release says something similar: "This pressing is of dubious sound quality. It's very quiet. Would not recommend."
"Ridicule is nothing to be scared of"

I may be wrong, but as far as I know, the only official reissue of Norman Haines was the Shoestring issue in the early 90s, until the recent-ish Esoteric CD reissue. I picked up the Shoestring issue when it came out.

Wasn't the original Bosporus Bridges a bootleg itself? I have it hidden away somewhere in my superior filing system and would have a look at the notes if I could find it...

What you'd kinda expect from some on with a user name like that!

                  Like Sie said over priced!
