    That is an amazing thing, thanks for sharing that. Not sure I have anything quite on the same wavelength, but this did come to mind:



    David Torn, from the 1987 ECM album 'Cloud About Mercury'. Chapman stick + trumpet + spacey guitar atmospherics evolves into massive guitar conflagration. Not your usual ECM fare.

    Heavy / Avant Garde: Linda Cuidad - La Pesada

    Heavy Argentinian rock I know, but it sounds more Avant Garde and experimental to my ears. Heard this on a Waxidermy CD from Horseleech whilst taking a chainsaw to a thicket. I love it. Actually liked it more afterwards sitting down quietly with my arms vibrating. (Tea cup rattling like the waiters tray in Tomb Raider)

    Anyone know any other tracks that are this kind of E-bow, reverb, squalling, heavy improv?
