Guitarist with Chocolate Watchband. Not a household name for sure, but when I was trying to get under the surface of garage/psychedelic music in my late teens, I picked up a white label(Bootleg) copy of The Inner Mystique, from Bills stall on Portobello market. To say the lights went on is an understatement. CWB weren't the most musically talented band on the planet, but they struck a chord with me which still resonates. That's why I flagged up his passing.

They are a great place to start for anyone wanting to know what psychedelia is or hear the point where garage punk met the new psych sound in 66/67. No Way Out and The Inner Mystique are great but One Step Beyond is more hard rock than the previous LPs and should be given a wide berth in my opinion..."Here comes the Fun Cooker!!"
