Looks like you had a bit of a session there Medlar

Way to go Craig First tune I played this new year was this.

Start as you mean to carry on and all that
Everyone tear down your own little wall
That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

Picked this up on Tuesday at 33RPM in Las Palmas, which kicked the year off with plenty of energy.

Still have a pile I acquired at the end of last year I haven't got to. First one to get the needle was John Zorn - Spillane, one I'm very familar with, but first time I've had it as an LP.

A 2014 Waxidermy Swap Gospel Mix which I had been playing in rotation over Xmas with LJO's excellent Sinatra comp Amidar's jaw-droppingly accomplished jazz/exotica debut.

Some fine, fine Modern Soul-sounding tracks on it.

Stoneface's swap CD for me. Excellent stuff.

Also had Hayes' lovely Soviet jazz CD earlier and just got Theeman's Blaxploitation CD on.

I also watched The Muppets film with the great Flight of the Conchords songs. Lots of fun.

Weird!! Same here, Greek pressing of station to station LP which reminded me I've got to fix the earth on my set up, need to get some solder at the weekend.

Borrowed several records from a new year's party I ended up at (with their blessing, mind), which got a spin:

                              Fred Frith - Speechless
                              Daevid Allen - Good Morning
                              Air - Air Time
                              John Coltrane - Interstellar Space
