Dunno about that London lot, but if it's still afloat I plan a visit when it's in Stratford July 1st-6th

        Vinyl certainly floats MY boat!
"Record collecting is no mere hobby, no innocuous leisurely diversion. It is a feverish passion bordering on dementia, driving those under the influence to irrational, compulsive, fanatical extremes."

Apparently on tour round the country in 2015, where "the country" means "no further north than Birmingham".

I´m pretty shocked by the southern-centric attitude of narrowboat-based vinyl retailers, too.

"Too many locks and I´ll have to leg the barge through a nine mile tunnel at Dudley" - yeah, right - you just hate northerners.

Yes, I stumbled upon it by chance a couple of weeks ago when I was strolling along the River Lea... a nice little selection of wares, I picked up Tim Hardin's Suite For Susan Moore for a fiver. The cover did have some slight rippling now I think about it... an owner of a floating record shop should seriously consider investing in some polythene sleeves methinks...

It's coming to Foxton locks apparently.

Market Harborough is not the haunt of whippet and flat cap man.

Nice place though, the pub there used to be very characterful, set up for and full of canal folk. I suspect all that has been modernised out of existence since they refurbed?

Not seen the boat selling vinyl but I've seen a few canal boats selling books.
