  • Locating bizarre trippy psychedelic floral vegetation band

I think it was a few years ago someone posted a Youtube clip of a band whose stage image consisted of (I think) costumes made of vegetation, plants and the whole stage was covered in the same. It was a sight to behold.

    Any clues?

Maybe I drank too much Night Nurse that evening and made the whole thing up.

    Appreciated.

I do remember it. Completely mad. Can't remember their name though.

Was it Caroliner? I think it was.

Incidentally Caroliner is a 19th century singing bull. The band are wierder than they look believe it or not.

Hmm maybe but can't see anything on YouTube under that name as well as using other tags.

Caroliner play wearing day-glo outfits ... very trippy indeed. They may have played in vegetation (I wouldn't put it past them)... but I'm not sure.

Thanks, Yeah this is it. I'm afraid my hazy recollection of vegetation and suchlike was a red herring.

Anyways they don't make pop groups like this anymore.

I like Caroliner. I've had quite a few albums pass through my hands. I played one recently - "Rise Of the Common Woodpile". Strange record - reminds me of the Residents but with hardcore punk and bluegrass (!) aspects.
I'm not really sure where they are coming from ... but I like not knowing. I like mystery in music.
I also like the way they blend in with the scenery
