  • Cool Jerry Goldmith

He's got a large body of nicely recorded material. With a couple of obvious highlights like 'The Omen' and the Flints, but he's not that cool?

    Is he?

These couple of tracks have been floating in my head for the last couple of weeks.

    What else is out there?

        ...

The last run and the resurrection of Peter proud both have some nice stuff on them. Seconded on Sebastian, that score has a nice swinging vibe.

Edit ... Just pipped me to it on the former ...

The Last Run is an excellent film too - worth watching.

Don't overlook the jazz version by Walt Dickerson:

I love that Logan's Run soundtrack, the synthtastic "Flameout" or "Love Shop" immediately conjure up the shiny subterranean future...

Anyone for "Escape From Planet Of The Apes"? There was a CD release of 'Planet' that had a suite from 'Escape' on it, some groovy weird riff + electric sitar action...

I should have also said I'm a big fan of the "sebastian", "our man flint" and "in like flint" films too...
