You have to be really, completely retired from listening to rap to be excited abt a Dr. Dre record in 2015.

Having lived and worked in the West Midlands, it might be that the good Doctor is referring to Compton near Wolverhampton, a hospice charity that has some exceptionally well stocked charity shops. And yes, they include vinyl.

I take it you're a big Eminem fan? 50 cent?

Those are the last artists Dre had a major hand in producing, both abt a decade ago.

The 'detox' tracks Dre leaked (before scrapping the project) were consistently atrocious, not fun at all, he's 50 yrs old & way out of touch. It's cool Vince Staples and Kendrick are on the record, but no YG on a Compton themed record is a terrible look, YG has almost single handedly kept that Dre-derived sound alive.

Nope, cant stand Eminem. though the Dre instrumentals for his tracks I like. same with 50 cent. I also liked all the tracks leaked from Detox. because I like what Dre does because im a Dre fan. a new album is exciting having waited 16 years.
Kendrick on the other hand is awful, I don't like what I have heard from him, admittedly it was only one song.
