  • Lloyds 1k 45 soap saga

Anyone following Corrie's Lloyd (everyones' favourite funkateer Craig Charles) & Andrea plotline, involving Lloyd selling his spares but not his one record worth a grand - and we can only only assume that his girlfriend has now sold it without telling him as she needed the money for her daughter?

My wife now wants to know what I'd do if she sold my records. "I wouldn't mind', I replied, weakly.

Anyway, hopefully next episode will reveal what record it is, who she sold it to, how she sold it etc.

I think Lloyd's got more actual records than Craig.

Yes! Ha ha. Just to keep everyone up to date, Llloyd can't find the record but no admission of guilt from Andrea yet, just pensive closeups when he's talking about it.

Current episodes are written by Damon Rochefort, of 'I Wanna Give You Devotion' fame, fact fans. Probably an elborate ruse to sell his own copy.

Is that REALLY "Northern Soul"?? Sounds like badly-played RnB to me. And you can clearly hear Roy Cropper frying Black Pudding all over it.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I met him "back in the day" and he was one of the most outrageously motormouthed hustlers I´ve ever encountered.

This thread makes absolutely no sense to me. What is it even about? Northern Soul?
