Interesting new concept concerning what to do with your record collection when you eventually need to sell it but nobody will meet your price:

((( IF THERE IS NO INTEREST IN THIS COLLECTION I WILL DESTROY IT IN THE NEAR FUTURE. )))

I want to message him and say "Go on then. Times moves on, tastes change, values rise and fall and no one wants your pile of crusty old shit ". Not very productive of me but y'know. These dudes keep coming out of the woodwork and a lifetime's OCD doesn't mean anyone should fund your retirement.
"As technology has advanced, vinyl records are outdated as they are music from the 19th Century so only hipsters and elderly people buy vinyl records".

Probably - but his rock bottom price is $20 per item in the collection - 13,000 items @ $260,000.

The canadian 45s seem pretty interesting but what do I know.

I was just about to say the same. Surely some beaty goodies in the Quebecois 45s? Price still a bit preposterous though.

What an absolute nob end why doesn't he just burn some books whilst he's at it.

"There's no way I WILL LEAVE THESE VERY RARE RECORDS THAT AS TAKING ME 60 YEARS TO FIND. BEHIND."

How about you try and sell some, make a will and leave the rest to OXFAM or if some are that 'rare' give them to some kind of archive or museum you spiteful old miserable twat! I mean why collect them in the first place if they are holding you back so much, strange...

You cant sell in bulk and expect full 'value' and prices change all the time...

I'm with 'Tsundoku', but whats the point.
