Maybe I'm a bit simple, or very easily pleased but I was pleasantly diverted by the page turning sound and kept flicking the pages back and forth. I'm beginning to sound like Homer.

Has anyone had experience bidding on something like this on the past? I'm just interested how the prices work out on the day. I'm guessing the big items will go for something like current market value or even above but there could be some bargains to be had on the less rare records.

Pretty useless descriptions / images, as so often with auctions like this. For example, lot 88 is 'JAZZ ANGLAIS : LOT DE CINQUANTE DISQUES', but there's no way of knowing what's included. It mentions Don Rendell, but not what album / albums. The next lot is simply 'JAZZ MODERNE / JAZZ ANGLAIS Michael GARRICK Cold Mountain' - but there's no photo, without which it's impossible to know if it's a laminated sleeve variant. These things matter to serious collectors!

I bought a EX copy of a first UK press on verve of that 'Junior' album on Verve for £6.99 I think the other week, their value for a us press is 100 quid+, bonkers!
