IKEA 45 Storage

Now I know we all love a good Ikea record storage post, so thought I'd show these for anyone interested.

Freestanding bathroom cabinet with 6 drawers, nearly exactly the right size to comfortably hold approx 90 45's in card sleeves.

Just in case anyone is looking for something.

How odd. In Holland it's listed under 'Schoenenkasten'.
Do you people keep your shoes in the bathroom?
There's also a 3x3 unit which looks good.
I'm thinking get 4, saw the legs off, and turn it into a 6x6.
Thats 36 drawers, good for 3200-3500 singles or so.

Just to warn you, it's just exactly the size of a 45 card sleeve - anything slightly bigger will not be going in.

I saw these a couple of weeks back as we were looking for a bathroom cabinet but being metal I thought they might be prone to rusting having such a small bathroom. They do look like old 70's style file cabinets but narrow so wouldn't look out of place anywhere.

What is the internal width of the drawer?
I had not realised it was metal.
How stable are the drawers when fully pulled out?
Do they come out or is there a stop of some kind?
