  • Ebay 'Trending At' What Dis?

This evening ,I've noticed this 'trending at' thing for the first time.. (see link)

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marvelette...EAAOSwWnFV9Xk6.

    Trending at £**.**
Where does this number come from?
We base this on the sale prices of the same items sold on eBay in the last 14 to 90 days.

As you may probably be aware the Soul/R&B 45 section of Ebay UK is a swamp of boots and pressings look a likes whatever. Will this 'trending at'
be nuanced enough to differentiate between an original record and a cheap counterfeit. I suspect not. So in a lot of instances over time the data will be what? Misleading worthless?
Will it differentiate between a laminated 1st Hunky Dory 9 for example) and a green label reissue?

    Thoughts?
