I recall seeing this seller's items before and always thought he could have put a cloth or paper down on the wooden surface first to avoid any scuffing etc... and make the whole presentation look better generally. He/she does it on some records but not all. I would not be inclined to bid on a record that was laying on a bare wooden surface. I am a bit pedantic/paranoid about what it might do to the playing surface, esp if I am going to bid highly and also I think that if seller can;t be bothered or has no "respect" (for want of a better word), for it, I won;t bother either. I am not sure if it's a table-top or floorboards. Any opinions? Maybe you work with wood.

Segue to another question that has probably been asked before, but are there things that certain ebay sellers do all the time that you wish they would stop and it gets under your skin etc..? Like some that list records with a buy-it-now price that you think are very high, bordering on ridiculous and they keep listing it over and over again?
