  • Kallax cheap in Ikea.

I was in Ikea Edmonton the other night. In their Bargain Corner, there were 2 Kallax 5x4 units. One oak coloured, the other black. I think the oak one was £55, the black £60 if I remember correctly. Anyone in that neck of the woods need one? Or two?
    Minor damage obviously.

I've never heard of Edmonton in my life. I had to look it up

I do vaguely remember its claim to fame in Wikipedia though: "In an episode of BBC, television, comedy Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em Frank Spencer played by Michael Crawford roller skates down the now demolished bridge at Edmonton Green"

It had to be famous for something I suppose. That and The Sundown, a big chimney and now....Ikea too.

Don't be giving the BBC anymore ideas I'm still not recovered from 'Still Open all Hours' and 'First of the Summer Wine'... alright I made the last one up how about 'Some Mothers Still have them and Horses'? Frank Spencer and Rodney Trotter team up for all manner of comedy mishaps in the Edmonton area.

I thought it was too good an opportunity to miss, thankfully I was probably wasted somewhere in a ditch when that was on or I could have been fitting bicycle wheels to the neighbours bath and riding it across the dales, I have a fuzzy memory of those years!
