So whats with Kendrick Lamar's nod to the KPM cover design on his new album?

I didn't hear any KPM sounds but it's not out of the question. The people he works with would have a firm knowledge of KPM sampling, though the only sample tracked down from it currently was from a 2015 library (and so probably just from that producer's hard drive). Tribute mixed with a fitting aesthetic for what's trying to be an understated presentation.

I havent gotten to listenthrough it yet, sitting near the top on my digital "to listen" pile. I probably couldnt judge if he sampled any KPM stuff as Im still way too low on KPM stuff (if he even used any). Or maybe he's just a fan and sees it as a Kind of Hommage to the Label?
