Most of us have mastered taking records out of the sleeve without touching the grooves, but I think a sound-plate gripper would be quite useful for one-armed record collectors.

I wonder what the gripper is lined with? The softest kid leather? Plush velvet?

Sandpaper would probably give a really firm grip.
