  • Trunk Records bombshell

If you're a soundtrack fan, specifically of the Bedazzled OST, you'd be well advised to either check your Trunk mailout, or get in touch with him pronto.

Kinda surprised that no-one's mentioned it yet.

You'll find a lot of us "bedazzled" fans on VG+, for example

Off to the Museum Of Childhood in Bethnal Green for the Oliver Postgate & Peter Firmin etc exhibition today. Might slip an envelope through the door while I'm up there.

I finally got a spanking UK copy of this last year which narrowly avoided being skipped! Allow me to bore you with the story.

A local record/book dealer who doesn't really have a clue had a lady visit with a pile of records. He pulled The Beatles etc but didn't want the rest, all soundtracks. The lady asked if he would then just take them for free as she couldn't be bothered to take them home. Reluctantly he did with the intention of skipping them after he removed the inners for spares. It was only when he was doing this noticed Racquel Welsh and thought he'd check RRPG. It ended up in his box boxes for £60 and another dealer bought it and sold it to me for £70.

Of course I'm friendly with this first dealer and when I told him I'd got it via another dealer he was disappointed for me as he would have let me have it for £50. He assured me the rest of the OST's were worthless (scary thought!)

Hey ho...story of my life but I was still delighted to pay £70 for, dare I say, a mint copy.

This reissue does look the business though.

as the sleeve says: "Promotional copy. Not for sale"

speaking of which, wish I'd noticed they were going for 30 quid+ a few years back, should have shifted mine then.
