No one outbid the first digger and it went for 100 quid at one point I thought they had cancelled the auction as ebay showed it as so then I found it still in my watching so either an ebay glitch or it had been relisted at some point. It is a hit and hope kind of thing especially being a school production.
The reason I ask about 'The Moths' LP is there is a short run reissue of it on 'Guerrson'. Mixture of 'Bert Jansch' covers and their own tunes. Its given them a whole new lease of life and they've reformed, notice they have a Facebook page (Which I'm too lazy to find). The sound samples I liked, they made it on to the 'dust on the nettles' comp so I've given it a punt.
I'm out of date it came out the beginning of last year, still managed to snag a copy though.
I have the Giles album, but haven't pulled it out of the backlog pile and spun it yet. I've heard it's not too promising, and there is a track on YouTube that doesn't inspire confidence.
The Moths is OK hippie Folk with bongos, acoustic guitars, etc, but there are far better examples of the style. Check out Dando Shaft for a much better take on it.

Sweet the reissues all seem fairly easy to get hold of from various places. This site has got me into folk in a bigger way. Before I landed here it was John Martyn, John Renbourn, various members of Pentangle and Davey Graham, that was it.
I kind of liked the naivety of 'The Moths' tracks I heard, nowhere near the above mentioned in terms of skill but pretty workmanlike all the same.
