Those compilation LPs (along with Ronco) have to be the absolute pits in terms of sound quality! compressed to hell, no top and bottom end and to cap it all, you'd find that half the songs were missing!

Nevertheless, things like 'souled out' 'super bad' 'hit action' 'soul motion' '' and 'disco inferno' were the only way as a teenager I was ever going to get my hands on things like Cymande, Foster Sylvers, Timmy Thomas, Creative Source and William Devaugn. So for that alone, good on 'em!
