  • the ubiquitous moving house record packing query

anyone have recent experience / recommendations for stackable cardboard boxes for LPs / 12"s?

  • #2
here's an old thread on the subject.

    http://www.verygoodplus.co.uk/showth...t=moving+boxes

Unfortunately it looks like the 12" cube boxes are no longer available at http://www.a1box.co.uk/acatalog/products.html

They have an "LP box" which holds 65 LPs horizontally.

Hopefully someone out there still makes the 12" cubes, what with VINYLS being fashionable now

edit: 12x12x12" here http://www.kitepackaging.co.uk/scp/h...es/enviro-box/ (mentioned on another old thread)

thanks for the reply. i'd checked the archive but wondered if there was anything new on the market as i'm struggling to find something cost effective and suitable. most are either 14" (bit too big to stack) or 12" or smaller (too small).

no idea about the kitepackaging ones, but the discontinued 12x12x12" from the a1box.co.uk were exactly the right size for records, if it helps

someone else mentioned kite, i'll give them a try - had assumed 12x12x12 would be too small but maybe not
