I thought the article made the Capitol Hill owner sound quite reasonable. Whether that's true or not it would be impossible to say without a visit, and I think it also depends on his pricing. I think the shop owners who refuse to let things go for less than book price and gradually accumulate more and more stock (which gets harder to view and less appealing for more casual buyers) and get bitter and resentful are the worst. If there's bargains and interesting books to be found, then it looks like a fun place to visit.
