  • James Pender - Reatha

At a second hand store this afternoon, I searched through two boxes of crap pop to pull out this little mixed bunch of 7"s for £5:-

James Pender - “Reatha / Scrub Scrub Huba Hub” (Rembo)
Bob & Earl Band – “My Little Girl / His & Hers Shuffle” (Jay Boy)
Aretha Franklin – Don’t Play That Song / The Thrill Is Gone (Atlantic)
Diana Ross/Supremes/Temptations – “For Better Or Worse/The Weight (Motown)
5th Dimension – “I Didn’t Get To Sleep At All / The River Witch” (Bell)
    The Funk Master - “It’s Over” (Master-Funk)
Public Enemy – “Fight The Power” (Motown)
Steinski & The Mass Media – “We’ll Be Right Back” (4th & Broadway)
The Beloved – “The Sun Rising” (WEA)
Rock Steady Crew “Hey You..” (Virgin)
Grandmaster Melle Mel & The Furuous 5 - “Step Off” (Sugar Hill)

The first one really intrigues me. It is a 60s soul tune & not my cup of tea (but then I only drink coffee anyway...but I digress). It is an out-of-stock item on Craig Moerer's site, so presumably of interest to some people.

    Anyone come across it before?
