I like the sound of this Vanishing Twin LP coming on Soundway.

This one sounds quite good. Michal Turtle - Phantoms Of Dreamland. It's tracks from a hard-to-find 1983 album called Music from the Living Room, plus a load of other stuff recorded mid-80s. Double album.
The 12" from last year Are You Psychic is meant to be good too but not heard it.

I'm sure everyone's aware that Sunstone's Garden Gate LP is ready for pre-order- Treeboy, I'm looking at you- but just in case they aren't there are only a few left ( could be single figures by now).

P.R.O. (People Rock Outfit) - Blacky Joe (Soundway) - Fine bit of funky afro rock

Rob "Make It Fast Make It Slow" (Soundway) - Been out of print for a while, but repressed at a super low price...

Think this is out now for any one interested in Electronica considering most of his startling in number releases were on cassette its rare they come out on record. I don't think he saw much profit in his lifetime for numerous reasons. Some soundclips on the page. I once met who I believe was his nephew, bought a TV off him, fact fans.

God I'm a numpty! Got the email, made a mental note to order one later before going down the garage to wax some kitchen chairs I've been doing up. And somewhere along the way completely erased it from my mind. Serves me right I suppose.

Everyone tear down your own little wall
That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

Sarathy Korwar's album is out now on Ninja Tune, and it's lovely. blend of indian percussion and eastern jazz, very stretched out and gorgeous. Produced by Nick (Emanative) Woodmansey and mentored as past of the Steve Reid Foundation by Nick, Keiran Hebden and Gilles Peterson.

"The extraordinary debut album from percussionist, drummer and producer Sarathy Korwar – Day To Day – fuses traditional folk music of the Sidi community in India (combining East African, Sufi and Indian influences) with jazz and electronics. It’s a collaborative release by Ninja Tune with The Steve Reid Foundation – a charitable trust established by Brownswood / Gilles Peterson with the dual objective of helping musicians in crisis and also supporting emerging talent...."

Album launch party Thursday this week at Total Refreshment Centre.

Nina tune has been on a roll lately. Nicest looking record in the shop for a year now almost every time.

I'm gonna heap more praise on this album after it arrived yesterday morning. Gonna put my neck on the line and say this will end up album of the year and that's even if a better album comes along.
