      I find their proposed follow-up more intriguing; add a monorail component.

      Rather than have a circular disc have a single straight vinyl groove. The Maglev playing arm travels along the groove.

        Yes! Why not levitate the sound???? That's what I'd do, make some levitiating sound juice that you can rub into the record. Use the Elevators to get the word out.

            What happens if the back door is open, and Mrs Treeboy comes in the front door resulting in a gale blasting through the house? Does the platter end up frisbying down the garden with the neighbours dogs in hot pursuit?
