  • Bruce Springsteen ??

I was listening to Springsteen's "Nebraska" LP over the weekend - fu*king amazing in my book, "Atlantic City" is my most played track at the moment, when he sings "With you forever I'll stay" - man that gets me everytime.

What are other peoples thoughts on 'ol Brucey - The Boss or Boring Cock?

There was a rather good BBC 2 program on immigration recently.
Several short films about the immigration to the UK from a Pakistani experience.
One program featured a Pakistani guy who grew up in Luton in the 80’s who found his strength and direction listening to the Boss. He found something in Bruce’s songs that he could relate to and this helped him through hard times. The Boss had always been a bit of a joke in my eyes to be honest, but this really made me change my opinion, dude really touched someone.

Can I vote for The Boring Cock Boss?

Darkness On The Edge of town is cracking but I think a lot of his stuff is patchy. Can't deny the dancefloor class of Dancing In The Dark though!
        Mixes, compilations and the like

I remember my mom took me along to one of his concerts when I was 11 here in Copenhagen. That is still one of my best concert memories and my only stadium concert so far...

                  The Boss rocked it!

I can't remember exactly anymore. the single wasn't mine. I sold it for a friend who gave me 15% of the sale (enough to make it my best deal on ebay ever).

                          It was either this one:

                          Spirit in the Night
                          Promo. Columbia 4-45864 (US, 7' vinyl 45r) -- WL Stereo/Mono

                          or

Blinded By the Light/Avenging Annie (by Andy Pratt)
                          Promo. Columbia Playback AS 45 (US, 7' vinyl 33 1/3r EP) -- 12-Jan-1973
